What is Drawdown?
Drawdown is that point in time when the concentration of greenhouse gases peaks and begins to decline on a year-to-year basis.
Project Drawdown is a plan to reverse global warming by drawing down the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
The visionaries and scientists at Project Drawdown gathered a qualified and diverse group of researchers from around the world who identified, researched, and modelled the 100 most substantive, existing solutions to address climate change. What was uncovered is a path forward that can roll back global warming within thirty years.
It shows that humanity has the means at hand. Nothing new needs to be invented. The solutions are in place and are sometimes in action already. Our work is to accelerate the knowledge and growth of what is possible. The name Drawdown was chosen because if we do not name the goal, we are unlikely to achieve it.

“Most intriguing and powerful was the vast array of actions that are available, and the ways to be involved, through a community. While innovation is vital, it doesn't necessarily take a leader to make the change - it is those that follow that make the impact.” – Lucy
“I was amazed by what a passionate, open and trusting group it was.” - Deborah
