Pachamama Alliance Aotearoa takes a ‘Game on’ approach to this challenge, focussing on the solutions.
Pachamama Alliance Aotearoa is part of the global Pachamama Alliance. Through the international Pachamama network, we have strong connections to a global community of change-makers and thought leaders. We invite you to join us on a journey to discover the power you have to influence change, and the steps you can take to truly make a difference.
We are committed to educating and inspiring individuals in Aotearoa to bring forth a thriving, just and sustainable world for all. This includes working to transform human systems and structures, and our relationships with ourselves, with one another, and with the natural world.

This includes workshops tailored and delivered by Pachamama Alliance Aotearoa as well as access to online workshops offered through the global Pachamama Alliance community.

Pachamama Alliance Global
Pachamama Alliance is a global not-for-profit community that offers people the chance to learn, connect, engage, travel and cherish life for the purpose of creating a sustainable future that works for all.
“Pachamama” means the earth, sky and all time in the Quechua language of the Andes. It aligns very closely with Papatuanuku in Te Reo Maori. Pachamama Alliance has worked with an indigenous tribe in the Amazon rainforest in Ecuador for 25 years to preserve their lands and culture from extractive industries such as oil and mining.
From the beginning, the indigenous people reminded us that the real work to be done at this time is to change the mindset in the rest of the world that leads to the destruction of their home – and of ours. Pachamama Alliance’s work is informed by the ancient wisdom of indigenous people, including a deep honouring of this living earth we call home.
All Pachamama Alliance programmes are grounded in the understanding that the world is alive and intimately interconnected. Ultimately the goal is to profoundly alter how we all relate to each other and the Earth, and to foster and bring forth a mutually enhancing human-Earth relationship.

Pachamama Alliance offers workshops, resources, inspiration and support to individuals and organisations. Our programmes are designed to inspire meaningful action and community connection. We know that by working together, we can do this. Humanity has the means at hand. Nothing new needs to be invented. Our work is to accelerate the knowledge and growth of what is possible.

Awakening the Dreamer
A self-guided 2-hour online course which invites you to take an honest look at the challenging state of the world, to reflect and discover opportunities to create a new future where you have a key role to play.
Game Changer Intensive
The Game Changer Intensive is a powerful 8-week training program where people come together online to explore who we need to be and what we need to do in order to make a difference in the world.To change the game, what’s needed is for a critical mass of citizens to step up, individually and collectively.
Our in-person and online workshops are created for individuals seeking tools, guidance and inspiration for taking action to create an environmentally sustainable and socially just human presence on this planet.
Introduction to Reversing Global Warming
A 2 hour workshop that invites you to see both the possibility of reversing global warming and the important part you play in that process.
In this workshop, you have the opportunity to:

Learn about a comprehensive scientific study from Project Drawdown of 100 solutions that together could actually begin to reverse global warming by 2050
